Superstar reggae artist Bob Marley was a Jamaican reggae singer-songwriter who achieved worldwide fame and acclaim. Marley was considered by many to be the first Third World musician to become a worldwide megastar. The release of the album Exodus in 1977 made him one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, with sales of more than 75 million albums and singles.
