Bones” season 9, episode 24: “The Recluse in the Recliner” airs tonight on Fox.

The team investigates the death of a man who had offered Booth information on a possible government cover-up related to a previous case but who was killed before their meeting took place. As Booth and the Jeffersonian team dig deeper into the burgeoning conspiracy surrounding the man’s death, it’s evident Booth may be in over his head, and his future with the FBI is put into question.

Bones” is an American crime comedy-drama television series. It premiered on the Fox network on Sept. 13, 2005. The show is based on real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs’ Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz).

“When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless – when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed – law enforcement calls on Brennan ‘Bones’ for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones. While most people can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation is an exception.”

“Bones” season 9, episode 24 airs May 19 at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox. Spoiler video below:
