In this week’s episode, Cristina is nominated for a Harper Avery and although most of her fellow doctors are ecstatic, she won’t let herself get too excited. A description of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 10 reads:

“The doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital deal with life-or-death consequences on a daily basis – it’s in one another that they find comfort, friendship and, at times, more than friendship. The medical world of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), along with interns Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens, George O’Malley and Alex Karev revolved around textbooks and professors yesterday, but today they are experiencing medicine firsthand as surgical interns at Seattle Grace Hospital, a teaching hospital with one of the toughest residency programs in the nation.

“Here, they must learn to balance their personal lives with their highly competitive professional lives, all while dealing with the daily stress of life-and-death situations. Together they’re discovering that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white. Real life only comes in shades of grey.”

“Grey’s Anatomy” season 10, episode 19  airs April 10, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC. Take a look at the preview video below:

  1. I loved the song at the beginning of the episode when Meredith and Cristina spring awake with the alarm – it's "Maneater" which is a Hall & Oates classic tune, but this was a cover version by someone named Clara-Nova. Always love how Grey's continues to introduce me to great music…of course what happens next reminds us that Cristina won't be on the show for much longer, and I really wonder how many more episodes this show can go on without her. The Meredith-Cristina relationship has always been so important, I can't really imagine the show without it and sadly, I think it might be time to wrap up one of my favorite series ever.
