Making sure he doesn’t lose the momentum he’s been building in anticipation of his new album, 50 Cent dropped another new single and visual, “Smoke” featuring Trey Songz. The New York rapper is now working independently, after parting ways with his label, Interscope. As reported by rap-up.com:
“Ring the alarm. 50 Cent goes missing in the Eif Rivera-directed video for his Dr. Dre-produced single “Smoke” featuring Trey Songz. When the rap mogul can’t be found, the lead detective sends his top agent to track him down. The voluptuous cop fights off bad guys before discovering 50 in the trunk of a car in the to-be-continued clip.”
Yesterday 50 sat down with Power 105 “The Breakfast Club” morning show for an in-depth interview. As also reported by rap-up.com:
“There was plenty to talk about when 50 Cent stopped by Power 105.1′s “The Breakfast Club” on Monday. During the 70-minute conversation, the hip-hop mogul talked business, baby mama drama, Eminem’s impact on his career, and his famous feuds with Rick Ross, The Game, and Young Buck.
“He also revealed that he has shot 13 videos for Animal Ambition, four of which feature cameos from Tony Yayo. But after those videos were shot, he and Yayo’s friendship took a turn for the worse. While he blames Yayo for souring the relationship, he does accept some responsibility for his fallout with Lloyd Banks.”
He also revealed that his new album, “Animal Ambition,” will be released on June 3.
