Last week Ciara gave fans a taste of a new song “Anytime” during a performance at the Hyundai’s Official Grammy afterparty, and today there’s an official release of the song.
“Anytime” is a love song that features Ciara’s fiancé Future, and the duo make their own ode to love similar to Beyonce and Jay Z’s recent collaboration.
As reported by vibe.com:
“Ciara and fiancé Future scribe an open love letter, dripping in auto-tuned sappy, to each other on their new boo’d-up anthem “Anytime.” After the rapper put a ring on it back in October, CiCi recently announced that she was pregnant with their first child but wouldn’t reveal the due date or the baby’s gender.
“‘I think it’s important I do things on my time,” she told People. “I can’t tell the due date but I can say I’m not too far from being in the delivery room and I do know the sex of the baby but I do want to keep that special as well.'”
Ciara’s “Anytime” was produced by Katalyst and Boi-1da, and while the song may not get as much attention as Beyonce’s “Drunk In Love”, it’s another great song for power couples to sing along too.
