New Year Hustle: Big Sean ‘1st Quarter’ Freestyle

Big Sean had an awesome 2013 with the release of his sophomore album Hall Of Fame, but he doesn’t seem to be content with living in yesteryear. The Detroit rapper released a new song, “1st Quarter” freestyle, and an accompanying video.

As reported by rap-up.com:

“Big Sean is back on his grind. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper kicks off 2014 with a vengeance by dropping a new song and video for ‘1st Quarter.’ The freestyle was produced by KeY Wane, with additional production by Travi$ Scott.

He shouts out his fiancée Naya Rivera (‘My girl the baddest’) and even makes a candid confession. ‘I’m way too skinny for jail, ho / So I gotta stay rich enough just for the bail, ho,’ raps Sean Don.”

Big Sean’s “Hall Of Fame” was one of the most critically acclaimed rap albums of 2013, and before the release of his sophomore album he said he had already started work on his third album, which is inspired by his relationship with pop star  Rivera.
