The music world made a big deal when it was announced that Outkast would be headlining the 2014 Coachella Festival. However, Wireless Festival which takes place in the UK has taken things to a whole other level announcing that Outkast, Kanye West, Drake and Pharrell will be headlining the event. As reported by vibe.com:
“Kanye West and Drake will be two of the headliners for the annual overseas Wireless Festival. Spanning three days from July 4-July 6, the 2014 festival will take over London’s Finsbury Park and Birmingham’s Perry Park.
“2014 Grammy Award winner Bruno Mars will close weekend extravaganza on Sunday, July 6, and will be joined that day by Outkast, Ellie Goulding, Neon Jungle, and more. Rudimental, Wiz Khalifa, Azealia Banks, Chance the Rapper, A$AP Ferg, and Odd Future’s Earl Sweatshirt the stage on Saturday, July 5, while Pharrell Williams, Iggy Azalea, and Angel Haze are set to perform on Friday, July 4.”
The UK Wireless is in its 10th year, and with a lineup like this, it will surely be one for the history books.
