Year in Review: Pharrell TV Special Recaps His Comeback

Pharrell Williams had a great 2013 after a period of not being as prominent as he had once been in the early 2000s. He returned to his dominant position of hottest music producer last year with hits like “Blurred Lines” and “Get Lucky.” Revolt TV is broadcasting a documentary featuring “Skateboard P” that recaps his monumental year.

As reported by hiphopwired.com:

“Pharrell Williams shows no signs of slowing down in the new year, but Revolt TV took the time to revisit the renowned producer’s stellar reawakening during 2013 in an upcoming documentary, titled The Year of Pharrell.

“The 30-minute piece analyzes the moves of a man whose reputation precedes him. From hit records like Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” to receiving nominations at the 2014 Grammy and Academy awards, Skateboard P’s accomplishments in 2013 were fully encompassing and something to marvel at.”

Pharrell’s close collaborators and some of hip-hop’s biggest influencers, such as Steve Stoute, Pusha T, Rick Ross and more, all join the show to talk about Pharrell’s major year.

“The Year Of Pharrell” will air on Revolt TV on Jan. 26 at 7 p.m.,  just before the airing of the Grammys.
