Drake Has A Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

Drake stopped by the  Late Night  with Jimmy Fallon show last night as he geared up for his Saturday Night Live appearance this weekend. Drake spoke on a range of topics, including his previous acting gigs and smoking weed . Drake and Fallon even played a round of “beer hockey.”

As reported by vibe.com:

“Before he kicks off the season premiere of  Saturday Night Live this weekend, Drake hits up 30 Rock for a little pregame with Jimmy Fallon. He stopped by the Late Night studio and talks shaving for the first time since Degrassi, as well his first time smoking weed before nabbing the role of Wheelchair Jimmy.

“He even sought advice for his SNL gig and reminisced on his favorite moments from the sketch show, one of which includes Jay Z. They cap off the LOL-full sit-down with an intense game of beer hockey.”

As Drake gets ready to host SNL, he also told Fallon he had to shave for the show and that the day of the script read-through was one of the best of his life.

According to mtv.com:

“[Drake] revealed that ‘SNL’ boss Lorne Michaels suggested that he be clean-shaven for his stint as musical guest and host on the show, something Drake realized he hadn’t done since his ‘Degrassi’ days. ‘I’m walking down the hallway and some guy in passing was like, ‘We like our clean-shaven boys here,’ and I was like, ‘That’s probably not the best welcome [to SNL].’ ”

Drake’s SNL appearance will take place tomorrow night. In the meantime, check out his Late Night interview below.
