Lisa Nicole Carson, 44

Carson is best known for her role as prosecutor Renee Raddick in Fox’s television series “Ally McBeal” for four seasons, starting in 1994. During the 1990s, Carson also found success with another popular TV show, NBC’s “ER.” However her film career is more extensive, including films such as “Jason’s Lyric,” “Eve’s Bayou” and “Devil in a Blue Dress.”

Carson’s last active acting year is 2002. It was widely believed that she suffered from a mental illness after some arrests and odd behavior – she was once at a restaurant “sitting alone, talking to herself, and then she locked herself in the bathroom for 45 minutes,” according to a Rolling Stone reporter in 2001. She also spent a stint in a mental institution courtesy of her family.
