Busta Rhymes and Azealia Banks are adding their own take to Beyonce’s “Partition” single. Busta and Azealia put verses on top of Beyonce’s lines to make a good song better. According to consequenceofsound.net:
“Unlike Beyonce did for her self-titled album, Busta Rhymes at least warned us he’d be dropping a remix of Bey’s ‘Partition’. Today, Funk Flex premiered the reworking on Hot 97.
“Azealia Banks also shows up on the track, but her verse is really just an exercise in how many words she can rhyme and still technically form sentences. Busta, on the other hand, plays the Clinton to Yoncé’s Lewinski, lyrically matching her too-sexy-to-get-to-the-club theme. If it weren’t for the fact that this is just a lil’ ol’ remix and all part of the game, we’d think Jay Z might not be cool with the way Busta ostensibly talks about his baby mama. But hey, it’s all hip hop.”
