Shanice
Shanice was 8-years-old when she became a first-prize winner on Star Search in 1983. By the time she was 11, Shanice had signed her first recording contract with A&M Records and released her debut 1987 album “Discovery.” As an adult, Shanice became best known for her 1991 Billboard smash hit “I Love Your Smile.”
Dave Chappelle
Dave Chappelle made his Star Search debut in 1993. He was 19 at the time, making him the youngest comedian to perform in the show’s history. He scored a perfect 4 from the judge. Chappelle went on to have several successful stand-up performances and “Chappelle’s Show,” which was the most successful sketch comedy series in TV history.
