Prepare For ‘Single Ladies’ Season 3 Premiere with 10-Minute Refresher Video

A lot of time has passed since we last saw the women of  VH1’s “Single Ladies” series, and fans may have forgotten important plot points and exactly where the show left off.  No worries, VH1 has released a condensed version of season two, complete with cast and crew commentary, to get viewers ready for the season three premiere in January 2014.

Here is VH1’s recent statement about the long-coming series:

“VH1 and Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment are kicking off the New Year with the third season premiere of hit scripted series Single Ladies. After averaging 3.3 million total viewers, VH1′s first hour-long scripted series returns with fan favorites LisaRaye McCoy (Keisha), Denise Vasi (Raquel), Charity Shea (April), D.B. Woodside (Malcolm), Travis Winfrey (Omar), Terrell Tilford (Sean), Harold “House” Moore (Terrence) and introducing new supporting cast members LeToya Luckett (Felicia Price), Damien Dante Wayans (David Berenger) and Lesley-Ann Brandt (Naomi Cox).

“As Season 3 of “Single Ladies” returns, we find our three fabulous friends tighter than ever and ready for more crazy and wild adventures. The premiere jumps three months ahead with a lavish wedding, leading to a new romance and new personal challenges for Raquel, April, Keisha and Omar.

“Raquel turns her focus to her boutique, Indulgence, and soon finds passion in an unexpected partnership. April lands the opportunity of a lifetime working for one of Atlanta’s most powerful music managers, Felicia Price, who rules her company and the music world with an iron stiletto. While navigating Price Management, April gets embroiled into an ongoing rivalry with her new colleague David Berenger. As Keisha and Malcolm return to Atlanta from traveling around the world, their relationship is threatened by a sudden tragedy, a mysterious woman, Naomi Cox, and other unexpected secrets.”

The network also promises an impressive roster of amazing guest stars like T.I., Keke Palmer, and Ja Rule, and announced the launch of an eBook series written by New York Times bestselling author Ashley Antoinette, which fills in details about what happened to each character between season two and three.

“Single Ladies” is a romantic comedy series about Keisha, Raquel and April – best friends with different philosophies on love, sex and relationships, proving not all women have the same desires. Set in the world of Atlanta fashion, music and celebrity, “Single Ladies” asks the question: What do women really want?

The series is executive produced by Flavor Unit Entertainment’s Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere, and Shelby Stone. “Single Ladies” was created by Stacy A. Littlejohn and is directed by Tamra Davis. The show premieres Monday, Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. EST on VH1.
