Dwight Howard Shocks Crowd By Hitting 3-Pointer

Dwight Howard drained his third career  3-pointer to the delight of the Houston Rockets bench during the second quarter against the Golden State Warriors Friday night.

Perhaps inspired by Golden State’s litany of sharpshooters and after 39 misses, Howard took the wide-open shot nailing three of his 11 points of the game.

In addition to the shocking 3-pointerHoward, a 57.6 career free-throw shooter, amazed the crowd by knocking down all seven of his foul shots.

Houston downed Golden State, 105-83, in Space City and has won six of seven and 21 of the last 28 meetings between the teams. The Rockets are 10-4 in their last 14 trips to Oakland.
