‘Bones’ Season 9, Episode 11: ‘The Spark in the Park’

Bones season 9 episode 11 the spark in the park

On this week’s Bones season 9, episode 11: “The Spark in the Park,” the Jeffersonian team investigates the murder of a nationally ranked gymnast, whose remains were hit by lightning and scattered throughout a public park. Although evidence points to a fellow gymnast as the key suspect, Brennan and Booth discover the victim was leading a double life. Meanwhile, Booth gets upset when Brennan shows surprising empathy for the victim’s father, and Cam confronts the woman who stole her identity.

Fox’s description of  its hit series reads:

“’Bones’ is an American crime comedy-drama television series currently in its eighth season. It premiered on the Fox network on Sept. 13, 2005. The show is based on real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs’ Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz).

When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless – when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed – law enforcement calls on Brennan ‘Bones’ for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones. While most people can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation is an exception.”

“Bones” season 9, episode 11: “The Spark in the Park,” airs Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. Spoiler videos below:
