On this week’s “Bones“ season 9, episode 10: “The Mystery in the Meat,” the Jeffersonian team investigates the murder of a food scientist whose remains were tossed in a meat grinder and mixed into cans of stew served in a school cafeteria. When the team uncovers the scientist’s newest – and highly lucrative – food invention, they begin to track the trail of jealous competitors in the multimillion dollar food industry. Meanwhile, Angela plans a post-wedding bachelorette party for Brennan and it gets crazier than intended.
“Bones” is an American crime comedy-drama television series currently in its eighth season. It premiered on the Fox network on Sept. 13, 2005. The show is based on real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs’ Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz).
When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless – when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed – law enforcement calls on Brennan ‘Bones’ for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones. While most people can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation is an exception.
“Bones” season 9, episode 10: “The Mystery in the Meat,” airsNov. 22, 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox. Spoiler videos below:
