Alicia Keys gave her fans and extra treat with the launching of her new website AKvault.com. The R&B diva also released a new song “I’ll Die Without You” which is a cover of PM Dawn’s 1992 hit.
According to huffingtonpost.com:
“Alicia Keys recently introduced fans to her new website, AKVault, releasing unheard music with the debut. In the vault is Keys’ cover of PM Dawn’s hit, I’d Die Without You. The 32-year-old singer called the track ‘one of my favorite songs ever,’ adding that she had to record her own version. Another unreleased song that Keys made public is a 2003 recording called Golden Child. ‘I wrote this song to pull myself up out of a slump I was in,’ Keys wrote about the song. ‘Feelings of not going anywhere, fears of not being able to make it.'”
