Once again Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s public appearance is being used to determine the health of their 16-year marriage. The couple and their children Willow and Jaden were on hand to celebrate Trey Smith’s 21st birthday.
The party was held for Will’s son at a Sin City hotspot Hakkasan and reportedly included 50 family members and Trey’s mother Sheree Zampino.
A source told Us Weekly:
“The energy in the room was ‘lively and filled with laughter.’ Will and Jada, in particular, ‘were in high spirits, rarely leaving one another’s side.’ They even snuck a few happy moments together away from the rest of the revelers.”
The unnamed source added:
“‘Will got on the mic to say a few special words in honor of the birthday boy. From there, the whole family — including Trey’s mom, Sheree Zampino — moved on to another hotspot, LAVO, where they kept the party going with music, cake, and dancing. (Trey’s underage half-siblings enjoyed a live feed of the action nearby in LAVO’s restaurant.)”
The family celebration comes one week after Will and his costar Margot Robbie took some fun and harmless photos in a photo booth provided on the set of their new film “Focus.” Robbie slammed news of an affair as “ridiculous,” while Will and Jada allowed sources to speak on their behalf.
“Everything with them is great,” the insider revealed.
To further prove that she’s not allowing the persistent rumors to affect her good life, Jada posted a positive note on Facebook on Sunday,
“Thank you Higher Power for giving me yet another day with an opportunity to…live,” she wrote on Facebook. “My father would often say, ‘Nobody gets out of life alive.’ His words linger in my head as a reminder to live every day to the fullest and to live a life that is deeply meaningful. This is my wish for us all. Happy, happy Sunday, everyone.”
