Kevin Hart Is Funny In New ‘Ride Along’ Trailer

Universal Pictures released the new trailer to the very funny action-comedy “Ride Along,” starring Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, John Leguizamo, Bruce McGill, Tika Sumpter, Bryan Callen and Laurence Fishburne.

Hart and Cube lead the lineup in “Ride Along,” the new film from the director Tim Story, who also directed and produced  the blockbuster comedy “Think Like a Man.”

For the past two years, high-school security guard Ben (Hart) has been trying to prove that he is man enough to marry his girlfriend Angela (Sumpter), who also happens to be the sister of  a hard-nosed, no nonsense APD detective named James (Cube). And when Ben finally gets accepted into the academy, he thinks now is the best time to ask for James’ blessings to marry Angela.

Knowing that a ride along will prove if Ben has what it takes to care for his sister, James entangles Ben in his latest case to see if he can survive.

“Ride Along” hits theaters January 17, 2014.
