Angel Haze is one of the best young artists on the rise. In the current stage of her career she could thought of as a female Drake circa his “So Far So Gone” era, as she’s both a rapper and a singer. The multitalented Haze lends her single talents to Lana Del Rey’s sleepy dance track “Summertime Sadness.”
According to rap-up.com:
“Angel Haze is no one-trick pony. In between freestyling over hip-hop hits like Drake’s ‘Worst Behavior’ and A$AP Ferg’s ‘Shabba,’ the Detroit-born rapper is showing that she can really blow.
“Following her acoustic cover of Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball,’ Angel effortlessly tackles Lana Del Rey’s hit ‘Summertime Sadness,’ delivering a stripped-down vocal performance.”
Haze has been giving the music world her twist on a myriad of other artists’ tracks as part of her “30 Gold” mixtape series, which is a prelude to her debut album “Dirty Gold,” which still lacks a release date.
