With Utah Jazz’s rookie point guard Trey Burke is out due to a finger injury, now teammate Alec Burks will replace him. After Wednesday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Burks’ time on the court will likely increase if he continues to perform these kinds of acrobatic reverse lay ups. Check out the video of the lay ups above and below.
For much of Utah’s season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Burks was the second-best player on the floor behind OKC’s Kevin Durant. He finished with 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting, to go along with six rebounds and six assists.
Utah ended up dropping the game to OKC by a score of 101-98, but that shouldn’t take away from Burks’ impressive reverse and all-around game.
