Antoine Dodson has confirmed that he will appear in the Tyler Perry film “A Madea Christmas,” which is scheduled to release in time for Christmas. In an interview with Hip Hollywood, the “Hide yo kids, hide yo wife, and hide yo husband…” YouTube sensation said, “I did the Madea’s Christmas with Tyler Perry and that’s coming out December 13, so I’ve been working, putting in work.”
“It’s so crazy, he’s serious about his work,” the Internet star said when asked what it was like working with Perry. “I love being around him and the cast. Everybody was so great. They treated me like I’ve been doing this for years,” he shared.
Both Dodson and another YouTube celeb, Sweet Brown (“Ain’t nobody got time for that”), were rumored to appear in the upcoming movie, but Brown’s casting has not been confirmed yet.
“A Madea Christmas” is of course written, directed, and stars Perry. The film also stars Tika Sumpter, Chad Michael Murray, Larry the Cable Guy, Kathy Najimy and Eric Lively .
