It’s been a good week for the members of rap group TDE.
According to hiphopwired.com:
“Oxymoron or no Oxymoron, ScHoolboy Quincy is going to get his point across either way. After blessing us with the audio a month ago, he delivers the visual portion of the self-explanatory “Banger (MOSHPIT).
“Black Hippy and Kendrick Lamar” get a lot of press, but Q is more than capable of holding his own, as exhibited in the clip. Equipped with just his imagination (and a blunt, of course), the Figg Side flag bearer kicks rhymes in an empty studio like a real MC should. ”
The “Banger (MOSHPIT)” video focuses mainly on the performance of ScHoolboy Q. There are no background dancers or flashy cars, just Q giving you his best performance in an empty photo studio, before taking to the underground in the subway and then to the streets with his crew. The black and white video definitely has that grungy, raw feel to match the hard-hitting nature of the song.
