Jamie Foxx has quickly denied rumors that he is dating Katie Holmes, the ex-wife of his good pal Tom Cruise. Meanwhile, Foxx graced the cover of Men’s Fitness and proved that a man doesn’t have to be shirtless to having ladies drooling over his physique.
With the Kardashian empire falling apart as we speak, In Touch needed new celebrities to spread rumors about. So when Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes danced together at a charity event a few months ago, the popular tabloid went in for the story, claiming that Jamie and Katie “have been dating for a while.” But Jamie told Entertainment Tonight that’s definitely not the case.
“[The rumors] are 100 percent not true,” Foxx told Nancy O’Dell. “In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people.”
The charity event was the fourth annual Apollo In The Hamptons benefit in New York.
While it is true that the pair danced together at the event, it’s also true that Katie danced with Ellen DeGeneres and tons of other guests at the party.
Jamie also took the time to point out that he would never violate the guy code by dating Tom’s ex-wife.
Jamie isn’t the first rumored-to-be-boyfriend Katie has had since her split from Tom. Other reports claimed she was dating actor Jake Gyllenhaal and jazz musician Peter Cincotti.
Either way, tons of ladies are just happy to hear that Jamie is still on the market – especially after his latest cover on Men’s Fitness magazine.
The buff actor may have been fully clothed for his entire spread, but that didn’t take away from his sex appeal.
Jamie is seen flexing toned arms on the cover of the magazine while wearing a slim-fit T-shirt that reminds us that there is some serious ab-action going on under his shirt.
Other photos in the magazine show the handsome funny man in a classic suit while getting in touch with his wild side on a black four-wheeler.
So while the rumors aren’t true that Katie and Jamie are dating, this classy and sexy spread might have Katie Holmes wishing otherwise.
