French Montana has been the go to rapper for hooks recently, but that’s not to say that he doesn’t have any hits of his own. The Bad Boy rapper’s single Ain’t Worried About Nothin‘ has been hot in the clubs and on the radio for a few months. Now Montana is ready for a remix, tapping Diddy, Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg to round off the track. According to theboombox.com:
“After a very quiet few months, French Montana comes out with the remix to ‘Ain’t Worried About Nothin” tonight, with appearances from Rick Ross, Diddy, and Snoop Dogg.
“The remix version of the song is exactly what one would expect considering the lineup solicited. Diddy’s verse is particularly notable, with the Bad Boy owner stunting like only he can. He admonishes the competition, saying ‘N—as talking like they rich ain’t got my sons’ money.’ He culminates his verse with some signature trash talk, creating a new hashtag: #BECLEAR.”
Diddy always seems to bring the heat when he’s appearing on someone else remix, just as he did on Wacka Flocka’s “O Let’s Do It” and Future’s “Same Damn Time.” We don’t know who’s writing Diddy’s verses but they’re on point. As he has said before: “don’t worry if I write rhymes, I write checks!”
French Montana had previously released footage of him and Miley Cyrus in the studio working on a remix as well. However it looks as if he decided to go the more hardcore route. We’ll have to see if the Miley cut ever gets released.
