Kerry Washington was a busy and stylish gladiator in New York City yesterday. The 36-year old actress showed off three unique looks as she hit the streets ahead of the season 3 premiere of her hit show, Scandal.
Washington began her day in a white asymmetrical J. Mendel dress on her way to the Paley Center for Media where an event, “She’s Making Media: Kerry Washington” was held in her honor.

“The audience included the likes of BET CEO Deborah Lee, Susan Fales Hill, Pat Mitchell, the current president and chief executive officer of the Paley Center and the former president and CEO of the Public Broadcasting Service.
During her chat, Kerry discussed at length the contributions of black actresses to the arts and also commented on her own political activism with the John Kerry and President Obama campaigns.”
Next up, Washington, styled in a print Prabal Gurung dress and belt, bounced over to a taping of the “Late Show With David Letterman.”
The Emmy-nominated actress saved her boldest look for last, in a blue and white gingham Prada dress and white Stella McCartney belt. Washington was joined by her co-star Scott Foley and the series creator Shonda Rhimes.
