Kanye West and Kim Kardashian tore themselves away from their baby girl North West, and headed to Paris for business, despite West’s legal troubles stemming from recent scuffles with paparazzi.
The curvy reality star had a tough time leaving her daughter back in California, according to anonymous sources for Us Weekly.
“Kim was sad to say goodbye,” the source said. “This is the first time she’s been away from the baby.”
While other stars like Beyonce have been traveling all around the globe with their little ones, Kimye decided now wasn’t the time to travel with their 3-month-old baby girl.
Besides, Kim is flying to Paris for business during Fashion Week, and can’t be distracted with mommy duties.
After the couple finally touched down in Paris they headed straight for the office of world-renowned designer Givenchy, along with former editor of French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld.
It isn’t clear what business they had to discuss, but we’re kind of hoping there’s no talk of yet another photo spread of Kim in Roitfeld’s magazine, CR Fashion Book.
As if leaving her daughter behind for the first time wasn’t enough stress for the new mommy, Kim has also been worried about the possibility of West going to jail after one photographer pressed charges against him last week.
The “New Slaves” rapper is facing charges of battery and attempted theft, after an altercation with paparazzi at LAX last week. Only a few days later, he found himself in the midst of even more paparazzi madness.
After late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel aired a parody of West’s BBC Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe, the artist responded with a string of angry tweets aimed at the comedian.
The infamous interview combined with the Twitter rant was enough to attract tons of photographers to the couple’s home, which the rapper considered a serious violation of his privacy.
While the photographers reserve the right to stand around the airport snapping pictures, they certainly don’t have the right to stand outside the rapper’s home, which is exactly what happened at 4 o’clock in the morning.
“Don’t say anything to me,” Kanye told the photographers after he emerged from his home and headed for a car that was parked in the garage. “Stop asking me questions. You’re out in front of my house at 4 a.m. asking me questions like, ‘How’s it going?’ It’s not going good. Y’all are here, trying to make money off of us.”
Eventually one photographer asked Kanye to calm down, but his response was far from calm.
“Shut the f**k up, it’s 4 a.m. you blood sucking mosquito,” Kanye replied as Kim Kardashian hopped into the passenger side of the car which was in the garage during the altercation.
The good news for Kanye is that the security cameras on his Hollywood home captured the entire incident. While all of the cameramen weren’t captured trespassing, the “Bound 2” rapper claimed that he does have enough evidence to prove that at least one paparazzo encroached on his property.
