Miley Cyrus is far from being the high school teenager, Hannah Montana, she played on TV. Now Cyrus is an embodiment of rebellion most 20- year-olds embrace. Miley joins Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa to show that spirit of rebellion for Mike Will Made It’s ‘23‘ video. According to billboard.com:
“Mike Will Made It has produced massive hits for Miley Cyrus (‘We Can’t Stop’) and Juicy J (‘Bandz A Make Her Dance’). How did those artists repay the hip-hop maestro? By going back to high school, of course, and bringing Wiz Khalifa along for the ride! In Mike Will’s new video for his single ‘23,’ the producer steps in front of the ‘featuring’ tag, and also, into the principal’s office to wreak some havoc. Miley raps and, naturally, sticks out her tongue.
“Wearing the remnants of a Michael Jordan ’23’ Bulls jersey and shorts, Cyrus takes over the girls’ bathroom in a high school and gets relatively turnt while Mike Will presides over the principal’s desk. Later, Juicy J delivers body-blow rhymes in the gymnasium during a wild pep rally, and in the funniest sequence in the video, that rascal Khalifa mixes some curious elements in the chemistry lab.”
Although most the attention from this video will focus on Miley Cyrus, ’23’ is actually a single from Mike Will’s upcoming album “Est. in 1989 Pt. 3.” However, Mike Will probably doesn’t mind that Miley is the one bringing attention to the song, he probably even planned in that way.
