Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade dished all about his relationship with actress girlfriend Gabrielle Union when he appeared on The Tonight Show and although the couple apparently hit a rough patch, they’re doing great now and enjoying tons of trips together.
Despite the crazy cheating rumors and allegations that Wade’s side chick was pregnant, the ballplayer and Union hit the beach together in Malibu over the weekend and looked like they could have been starring in a new romance film.
The couple walked along the shore hand in hand before playfully jumping into the waves.
When the paparazzi started showing up to snap photos of the couple, they didn’t shy away from cameras. Instead they smooched for the photographers and Gabrielle even hopped up on her man’s back for another cute couple photo.
It wasn’t just the way they behaved that made them so adorable. You have to admit that when it comes to good-looking couples, Union and Wade have the game on lock.
Both stars were flaunting perfect beach bodies. Wade’s toned chest and rock hard abs were on full display while his girlfriend’s petite but toned frame complimented his perfectly.
They certainly looked like a storybook couple, but the NBA star revealed that things weren’t always going strong between the two of them.
“Celebrity relationships are very hard,” Wade told Jay Leno during his late night talk show appearance. “This was a big year for us in our relationship from the standpoint of she was shooting her show Being Mary Jane and gone most of the year. I was dealing with my injuries, trying to win a championship.”
He added that they both decided to take a “step back” from the relationship, but then realized that the relationship was exactly what they really wanted.
“At the end of the day, we came back together and said, ‘Listen, we want to continue this. We want to try to continue to get better each day,’”Wade explained. “She’s been with me and I’ve been with her all summer long. We’re going strong now.”
It certainly shows because the couple has been taking tons of trips all over the globe ever since they got back together and they aren’t even letting those pesky, but predictable cheating rumors get in the way.
While tabloids are insisting that Wade cheated on Union and that his sideline chick may even be pregnant, neither of the stars are paying the rumor mill any mind – and they shouldn’t.
After all, rumor still has it that Gabrielle was the side chick during Wade’s marriage right?
The gossip will never stop when it comes to Hollywood couples, but it’s great to see that Gabrielle and Dwyane are giving more attention to their relationship than they are the rumors.
