Cincinnati Bengals Take Victory Over Struggling Pittsburgh Steelers

Running back Giovani Bernard and the Cincinnati Bengals were victorious over the struggling Pittsburgh Steelers 20-10 Monday night.

The rookie player scored two touchdowns as he led his team to a win.

“I saw green grass,” said Bernard. “Once you see green grass, you’ve got to take it. You don’t get many chances like that. When you do, you’ve got to take it.”

Bernard wasn’t the only rookie putting his stamp on the game Monday night. Tyler Eifert made a terrific 61-yard catch that put Bernard in a position to score his first NFL touchdown.

“Gio’s done a good job,” Dalton said. “We drafted him to be versatile, move around the backfield and make big plays. And that’s exactly what we’ve gotten out him.”

The Bengals ran up a total of 407 yards on the Steelers, and held the ball for more than 35 minutes of the game.
