“Dancing with the Stars” Season 17 premieres tonight on ABC.
The season premiere will kick off with a grand opening routine featuring the entire cast. Each couple will then perform a Cha Cha, Foxtrot or Contemporary routine.
The opener begins with a cast of 12 celebrities: Elizabeth Berkley Lauren & Valentin Chmerkovskiy; Corbin Bleu & Karina Smirnoff; Brant Daugherty & Peta Murgatroyd; Bill Engvall & Emma Slater; Valerie Harper & Tristan MacManus; Keyshawn Johnson & Sharna Burgess; Christina Milian & Mark Ballas; Bill Nye & Tyne Stecklein; Jack Osbourne & Cheryl Burke; Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi & Sasha Farber; Leah Remini & Tony Dovolani; and Amber Riley & Derek Hough. In a new twist, performance and results shows will be combined this season.
Who will take home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy? It’s too early to tell, but the competition is on, and tonight will give clues about who is and isn’t good enough to go the distance.
