Mike Tyson will star on a Fox Sports 1 reality TV show — if he does not die first.

“I wanna live my sober life,” Tyson said on ESPN’s “Friday Night Fights.” “I don’t wanna die. I’m on the verge of dying, because I’m a vicious alcoholic.”

At a news conference at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y., where Iron Mike Productions held its first fight card, Tyson said drug and alcohol addiction have been eating away at him. But he claimed he was committed to getting his life together.

“I haven’t drank or took drugs in six days, and for me that’s a miracle,” he revealed. “I’ve been lying to everybody else that think I was sober, but I’m not. This is my sixth day. I’m never gonna use again.”

Prior to those revelations, Tyson crashed a wedding at the resort. Greg and Amber Keller snapped photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen Friday evening, according to the Observer-Dispatch.

Tyson was “extremely nice,” Greg Keller said, adding that the Hall of Fame boxer posed for photographs while congratulating the bride and groom.

Following the boxing matches, Tyson elaborated on his troubled life.

“I’m a bad guy sometimes,” he said. “I did a lot of bad things, and I want to be forgiven. So in order for me to be forgiven, I hope they can forgive me. I wanna change my life, I wanna live a different life now.”
