‘Grand Theft Auto 5’ Reveals Online Gameplay Feature

With its release less than a month away, Grand Theft Auto 5 released a new video highlighting their online gameplay feature. The Rockstar games title teased the multi-player feature last month in their ‘gameplay’ trailer, and now the new video shows the multi-player feature in full detail. According to forbes.com:

An extensive Gamespot preview describes the game as a balancing act between the curated experience of a single-player campaign and the mayhem that is an online game (or just sandbox GTA). From the video, posted below, it looks every bit as convincing as the main game. In a nutshell, Grand Theft Auto Online takes place in a 16 player sandbox. You play a hood making his or her way towards building a criminal empire via all the usual methods — robbery, parachuting, arm-wrestling, shooting people, etc. You can fight against or with your partners in mayhem, or you can participate in the wide range of diversionary activities. It all gets you money, which you use to buy guns, cars, apartments and cornrows. There is a stock market.”

This is truly an extensive gameplay experience that Grand Theft Auto 5 is offering. And it will only get better as Rockstar games say they plan to keep adding to the online experience in the future, which will make the game more like the real world.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17, and the online gaming option will be available October 1.
