Celeb Couple Naya Rivera and Big Sean Collab On New Song ‘Sorry’

Hip-hop’s latest celebrity couple, Naya Rivera and Big Sean have been together only a few months, yet now they’re also partners in song. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper and “Glee” star have collaborated on Rivera’s debut single, “Sorry.” According to vibe.com:

“Big Sean’s feature on ‘Sorry’ is sweet. ‘Oh, my girl so fine that you scared to tell her hi’/ She an all-around ten like a high five/ And we ain’t fall in love, we skydive,” he raps. While there is no doubt that Rivera has the strong vocals (and resumé) to craft a pop hit, they take a backseat to the production on ‘Sorry,’ which is confusing considering her vocal prowess. The track is borderline overproduced and nostalgic of early Aughties pop (think Britney Spears’ first two records). That said, perhaps Rivera is waiting to showcase her power chords on the debut album she is putting together for Columbia. We’ll just call this track her warm-up. Listen below and let us know if you dig it or not.”

It seems Big Sean has rapped on more features in the last couple weeks than on his own music. Sean released his latest single “Fire” recently, and followed up with a Miley Cyrus-featured video for the song. However, since then he’s been featured on Drake’s “All Me,”Ariana Grande’s “Right There,” and now his girlfriend’s new track “Sorry.”

You can enjoy the new song above. Big Sean fans don’t have to worry about him being on more upcoming features, as the Detroit rapper’s sophomore album, “Hall Of Fame” is set to be released on August 27. Check out the track listing below:
