ATLANTA – Hope filled their hearts and excitement filled the air as thousands poured into the arena at Gwinnett Center for a chance at becoming the next American Idol.
At ground zero of this talent bomb stood Good Day Atlanta’s Karen Graham and Paul Milliken, who covered the American Idol local auditions in Atlanta, from sundown to sun up. One girl was inspired to reach for the stars in the wake of Glee star Corey Monteith’s death while dozens of hopefuls put competition aside to harmonize in impromptu sessions.
