Some reports say the Miami Heat, not D-Wade, paid Funches to stop the ongoing smear campaign.
Wade and his ex-wife were in and out of court over the custody of their two sons and things got nasty along the way. Funches’ latest stunt, which can be seen in the video above, shows her protesting outside of a Chicago court, claiming to be homeless.
On July 22nd, ESPN reported that the issue had finally been resolved. Dwyane Wade paid Funches $5 million, which includes a non-disparagement agreement.
