After Earth, staring Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith opens in theaters June 7th, 2013, and so far Sony Pictures has released two trailers to promote the film. After watching both trailers we have captured ten moments that may require a second look, and also suggest that After Earth is going to be a must see movie.
If you don’t know already the story begins when a crash-landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden) and his legendary father Cypher (Will) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.
