Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have finally reached a settlement, making Kim Kardashian a single woman once again.
It’s the day Kim has been waiting for. Preview clips of the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians revealed that the reality star was stressing over the fact that she might give birth to another man’s baby while she was still married to someone else.
Well, that fear is finally a thing of the past.
Kim Kardashian is officially a single woman … because the judge dissolved her marriage to Kris Humphries in today’s court hearing … and we’ve learned Kris walked away with NOTHING.
Here’s what sources connected with the case tell TMZ:
–Kris gets NO money from Kim. As we’ve reported … he had previously demanded $7 mil.
— Kris dropped his demand for an annulment based on fraud.
— Each party will pay their own attorney’s fees.
TMZ described the divorce settlement a major victory for Kimmy and her legal team.
For most of us, this news comes as no surprise since early on in the case Kris’s original lawyer dumped him because he said his client had absolutely no case against the reality star.
In the midst of getting dumped by his attorney and being slapped with another lawsuit, an ironic twist of fate revealed that Kimmy was the only person willing to give the NBA star a break.
Remember when Humphries was a no show at the court hearing last week?
Well the judge wanted to issue Kim’s ex (Woo… we never thought we’d be using that term) a hefty fine to pay for his absence. That’s when the mom-to-be swooped in to his rescue and begged the judge to drop the fine against him.
Now Kim can turn all her attention to her pregnancy with no fear that the baby will be deemed as Kris’s when the bundle of joy is born this summer.
