Janet Jackson’s secret wedding to billionaire Wissam al Mana wasn’t just a secret to the media but a secret to the remaining Jackson family. According to LaToya Jackson who’s busy promoting her OWN Network show “Life with LaToya” and reportedly working on a scheme to pimp her niece and nephews confirmed she knew nothing of Janet’s wedding. According to Global Grind at a private screening for the reality TV show,
“I didn’t know Jan was married until I heard about it through the media. Most of the family members, no one really knew. You would be surprised how you find out things through the media.” But LaToya is not hurt about not getting an invitation to her sister’s wedding. “It didn’t bother me because I know that in my family a lot of times you keep things private because you don’t want anyone to know if you’re married. Most of the siblings… Nobody knew!”
OK, Toya…..keeping a marriage private is usually signs that you’re not as tight as you think. Of course, this comes as no surprise to the public. Janet and LaToya were at odds when Janet and her brothers attempted to pull their mother Katherine away to a retreat in hopes of overturning the executors of the Michael Jackson’s estate. The ill-fated coup and a reported scuffle between Janet and her niece Paris led to the “Pleasure Principle” singer’s ban from the family home.
