Jay-Z Lashes Out at Critics with 'Open Letter', Beyonce Teases 'Grown Woman'

Beyonce and Jay-Z are both hitting us with some new music ‘Grown Woman’, ‘Open Letter’ respectively, and it seems like both of the megastars may have something to say to the critics who are busy slamming their trip to Cuba.

While Beyonce hasn’t directly responded to her haters, her new teaser for her song “Grown Woman” is likely what the R&B Queen would say to the critics if she had the chance.

The teaser is barely longer than 10 seconds and features short clips of Baddie Bey posing for photo shoots and some her back up dancers working up a sweat at rehearsal. With the clip being so short we’re pretty sure Beyonce and her team had to carefully select what part of the song they wanted to feature in the teaser… and the part they chose couldn’t have fit Bey’s situation any better.

“I’m a grown woman. I can do whatever I want,” the teaser stars off.

Maybe even a trip to Cuba?

Anyway, with this being the second time Bey has teased us with the new song without releasing the full version we’re wondering if she’s saving the song as a special surprise when she takes to Philly for the second annual Made In America Festival by Budweiser.

The festival will kick off Labor Day weekend and Jay-Z made sure to have his wife headline the huge show along with her little sister Solange.

So who else will be taking over Philly this year?

The YBF reports:

Other hot R&B singers rounding out the line up are Miguel and Emeli Sande.

Rappers Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky and Kendrick Lamar are on the bill. And Public Enemy and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will also be making their Made In America debut.

As for rock artists, Nine Inch Nails is the second headliner and plenty of other bands will be hitting the stages.

Noticeably absent from the line up is the man who had a major part in creating the festival with Budweiser–Jay-Z himself.

All because HOV isn’t expected to take the stage this year doesn’t mean he doesn’t have some new music out. In fact, the hip hop mogul was the one who didn’t hold back when he decided to respond to all the critics of his anniversary trip to Cuba.

It turns out that Jay-Z’s sentiments mirrored our own when everyone was harsh on the couple for going to Cuba and being blind to the fact that other countries are doing the same things but our government gives them a pass simply because we need them for something.

In his new song featuring Swizz Beats he raps, “This communist talk is so confusing. When it’s from China, the very mic that I’m using.”

He even responds to everyone who asked for Obama to be impeached because of the incident.

“Obama said ‘chill, you gonna get me impeached’ But you don’t need this shit anyway chill with me on the beach,” he raps before Swizz Beats comes in on the hook repeating Kevin Hart’s famous “Y’all gon learn today.”

Oh how we wish they would…
