Lil Wayne Is Doing Just Fine, Released From Hospital Last Night

Lil Wayne’s health is not as critical as rumors suggested as more of his famous pals and reps came out to say that the rap star is doing okay.

While Lil Wayne may still be recovering in a Los Angeles hospital, his star studded list of hospital guests are still coming out the door claiming Weezy is okay and not close to death like reports from TMZ suggested.

The “No Worries” rapper’s latest seizure sent him to the hospital where he has been recovering for a few days now and sparked rumors that he had actually gone into a coma and was on life support.

Nicki Minaj revealed that she really wasn’t worried about her mentor’s health because he always had a team of people around him that were ready to care for him should things go wrong. Despite not being worried about the seizures, she still made sure she went to show him love while he was recovering and was one of the first of his famous pals to do so.

Birdman also stopped by and after visiting his “son” he also revealed that Tunechi was going to be okay.

“My son is feeling good. Will be home real soon,” he tweeted on Friday.

The scary thing to consider, however, is how far is Wayne from not “feeling good?” How much more seizures can he take before the reports TMZ made become a reality and he is barely hanging on for dear life?

A close friend of the star’s claimed that it was his drug addiction that sent him to the hospital in the first place and if he doesn’t get it together soon, the seizures could get much worse.

“He drank too much sizzurp to get a better high,” a friend of his explained. “He needs rehab but he’s not close to death or anything. He’s fine and just coming down off the high.”

It seems like rehab is the answer to Weezy’s medical issues, but until that happens his good friend Usher sent him the next best thing – tons of positive energy.

The R&B crooner used his time on stage at the Afghan Whig show to gather up some positive vibes and much love for Wayne from his fans.

“One of my fellow artists, good friend, Lil Wayne is going through a real hard time right now, y’all,” he said to the crowd. “And I just want to send a lot of positive attitude about his state. And a lot of positive energy out there right now. Can you guys make some noise for Lil Wayne one time? You know it’s ultimately about positive energy. You believe in that? So one time make some noise.”

Another source close to the “Love Me” rapper said that doctor’s have been concerned about Weezy’s health for quite some time now.

Hopefully for Lil Wayne, his family, friends, and fans this last close call will be enough to get him to put down the sizzurp – although we’re aware that that’s asking a lot considering the addictive nature of the drug and just how much Weezy raps about it.

UPDATE: According to Weezy’s pal and label mate Mack Maine, the tattooed rapper has been released from the hospital. Putting a complete end to all the rumors that he was in a coma.

“Thanks to Cedar Sinai for everything!!! @LilTunechi has been officially released and is headed home… God is great,” Mack Maine tweeted last night.
