On tonight’s Californication season 6, episode 9, “Mad Dogs & Englishmen,” Atticus throws a party. Faith provides the girls, The Dealer provides the recreation and Hank’s old friend provides the entertainment. Hank gets a taste of his own medicine with Karen. Atticus tries to recreate rock and roll folklore with one of his biggest fans while Charlie reunites with The Widow.
Californication is based on a writer who tries to juggle his career, his relationship with his daughter and his ex-girlfriend, as well as his appetite for beautiful women. The troubled novelist (David Duchovny), who moved to California, suffers from writer’s block which complicates his relationships with his longtime girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone) and daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin).
The series was created by Tom Kapinos and stars Duchovny, McElhone, Martin, Pamela Adlon, Evan Handler and Madeline Zima.
