“Californication” season 7, episode 9: “” airs tonight on Showtime.
A nun helps Hank put things into perspective when he recalls his turbulent relationship with Karen, how confused things were with Becca and how happy Charlie and Marcy used to be.
“Californication” is based on a writer who tries to juggle his career, his relationship with his daughter and his ex-girlfriend, as well as his appetite for beautiful women. The troubled novelist (David Duchovny), who moved to California, suffers from writer’s block that complicates his relationships with his longtime girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone) and daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin).
The series was created by Tom Kapinos and stars Duchovny, McElhone, Martin, Pamela Adlon, Evan Handler and Madeline Zima. The show debuted on Showtime on Aug. 13, 2007, and has won several awards, including winning one Emmy Award (nominated for two others) and one Golden Globe Award (nominated for three others).
