Sean Lowe Not Ready To Break Things Off With ABC, Joins 'Dancing With The Stars'

Sean Lowe, the star of the match making reality series, The Bachelor has extended his relationship with ABC and reality TV.  Lowe will become the latest addition to Dancing With The Stars, the network’s dance competition series, which premiers with a two hour episode Monday, Mach 18 at 8 p.m. ET.

“I don’t know if there’s anything more challenging to me than learning how to do classical ballroom dance,” 29-year-old Lowe said in an interview, calling it an “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

The announcement was made on “Good Morning America,” right after Monday’s Bachelor season finale, in which about 10.4 million people watched Sean Lowe get engaged to 26-year-old contestant from Seattle, Catherine Giudici.

In Season 16 of Dancing With The Stars, the romance reality star will be partnered with last season’s winner, Peta Murgatroyd, who shared the crystal ball trophy with NFL star Donald Driver.

Of course, all this had to be OK’d first by his wife-to-be. But Giudici didn’t mind at all, and she believes her future hubby’s dance lessons will come in handy for the couple’s first dance when their wedding airs in a televised special on ABC later this year.
