Halle Berry’s dress on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” Monday night featured a daringly low neckline that pretty much had the talk show host mesmerized the entire night – and we can’t really blame him.
Halle Berry’s curves and stunning beauty would be distracting even if you dressed her in a thick turtle neck sweater and sweat pants, so putting her in a fitted low cut dress was a bit much for Mr. Leno.
The late night talk show host is usually very personal with his guest and manages to keep eye contact with them throughout most of their interviews, but this time his eyes couldn’t help but wander quite a bit.
The dress – which appeared to be strapless at first until a close up revealed a sheer panel that was going up over the actress’s shoulders – featured a slit down the front that reached the star’s belly button.
A silver trim added just a little more dazzle to the black ensemble, but we don’t think Jay even noticed that part.
Needless to say, her fashion was the main topic of discussion and after Leno admitted that her Oscars dress was his favorite he couldn’t help but add: “I like this one better.”
The jokes didn’t stop there either – I mean c’mon, this is Jay Leno we’re talking about.
When Berry compared her Oscars dress to “wearing a Ferrari,” Leno replied by saying, “I enjoy driving a Ferrari. Can you drive a stick shift, I’m curious?”
As it turned out, the mother of one almost didn’t wear her “Ferrari” gown because it didn’t arrive until the day before the Oscars.
“I had a conversation with Donatella Versace and told her that I really want to go to the Oscars as a Bond Girl, if a Bond Girl would go in 2013,” she explained. “So she came up with her idea of what it was, but she’s out of the country. She put it in a suitcase and shipped it here and I got it the day before the Oscars.”
Well we’re all happy that the dress arrived just in time because the gown was simply stunning and it fit Berry’s body like a glove.
Kim Kardashian Continues to Flaunt Her Growing Baby Bump
It’s been less than a week since Kim Kardashian has a pregnancy scare that resulted in her doctor ordering her to take it easy and yet the reality star is already back on her feet.
On Monday, the soon-to-be mommy was seen out and about in LA looking healthy once again and ready to show the world her growing tummy.
Rather than hiding her baby bump, Kimmy K has been flaunting it like no other. She was spotted pumping gas in a fitted black dress and black peep toe heels.
The health scare turned out to just be the result of not enough rest and a bit too much stress for Kanye’s baby momma.
“She’s been working a lot and with a divorce and the move and everything else she has going on, she just needs to take a little rest,” a friend of the family said.
According to the youngest Kardashian, Khloe (28), Kim is all better and will still be taking it easy although she doesn’t have any plans of just laying in the house all day.
“A lot of you have expressed concern in the recent hours about Kim,” the outspoken little sister wrote on her blog. “And I just wanted to let you all know that mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy right now.”
