On tonight’s HBO show Girls Season 2, Episode 9, “On All Fours,” pressure from Hannah’s aggressive publisher and a looming deadline further jeopardize her mental state. Adam and his new girlfriend have their first misunderstanding. At Charlie’s work party, Shoshanna avoids Ray, and Marnie makes an unsettling step towards following her dreams.
Girls, which stars Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet and Adam Driver, is based on Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna, who are trying to figure life out. They’ve been living in New York for a couple of years, but they’re still not sure what they want – from boys, from each other, from themselves. And things aren’t getting any clearer. Created by and starring Lena Dunham (“Tiny Furniture”), the new HBO series “Girls” takes a comic look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of girls in their early 20s.
