Rihanna got exactly the birthday cake she wanted for her 25th birthday on Wednesday (Feb. 20) as she reunited with her part time boyfriend and full time lover Chris Brown in Hawaii.
After rumors the couple was off again after ignoring each other at a party a few days ago, it seems like their tragic love story is far from over.
The “Diamonds” songstress took to the tropical location to celebrate turning 25 and spent most of her time cuddling and posing for pics with Breezy himself.
Of course, her best friend Melissa Forde was also in on the fun in the sun and served as the R&B star’s personal Instagram photographer – making sure we didn’t miss a moment of Chris and Rihanna’s lovey dovey reunion.
So thanks to Forde we can give you a pretty full run down of Rihanna’s birthday celebration.
It all started with a casual stroll as she walked hand in hand with her boy toy as he seemed to be busy whispering sweet nothings into RihRih’s ears.
After the pair departed from the beach pics of the Good Girl Gone Bad sitting on Brown’s lap in the car were quick to hit social media.
Of course, a birthday celebration just wouldn’t be complete for the “Pour it Up” crooner without enjoying a little bit of her favorite plant… or should we say herb?
The 25-year-old star found a creative way to incorporate her love of weed into her b-day bash. In addition to rolling herself an abnormally long blunt and posting a pic of it on Instagram, she even had her cake covered in marijuana leaves (fake ones of course).
The two tiered cake (that somehow ended up smeared all over her face) was decorated with Rastafarian colors and accented with the gold marijuana leaves.
So you’re probably wondering what gift do you get the girl who can pretty much afford anything she wants?
Well Breezy’s answer was a gorgeous Goyard handbag… with a little something special on the side.
RiRi – never one to be shy about her love life – posted a photo of her birthday present along with two Hawaiian Leis that has been casually tossed on the ground next to the bag. That would have been a good enough subliminal message for us to figure out part two of Chris’s present, but the “We Found Love” songstress decided to spell it out for us.
“Got the #goyard and getting lei’d at the same damn time,” she posted as the caption for the photo. (Thank you for that Rihanna we would have never guessed that you of all people was busy getting your freak on with the R&B bad boy… we thought you guys had scurried off to a church sermon about celibacy.)
Anyway, while Breezy may have given the sexual star her favorite gift of the night, he wasn’t exactly the man of the hour.
You can argue about what kind of person Rihanna is, but she has always made it clear that she is very much a family girl and they always come first. With that being said, it was no surprised that the songstress’s younger brother Rorrey was in attendance for her Hawaiian get-a-way.
Filled with joy, the birthday girl took several pics along side her brother who still towered over her despite being younger than her.
She flaunted a cute white cut-out dress as she tightly hugged her sibling who kept a straight face for his spontaneous photo op.
Earlier in the day RiRi has been photographed with another handsome man that managed to get her wet …. Hey hey hey, it’s not what you’re thinking.
Get your mind out the gutter.
After spending most of her time cuddling up with Brown she decided to take a little break from all the romance in order to go jet skiing with pro surfer Makua Rothman.
She has always been quite an avid lover of jet skiing so she didn’t hesitate to strip down to her bikini bottoms and a life vest in order to hit the waves.
At one point she truly showed off her skills when a rather large wave caught her that would have sent an amateur crashing into the water. The daring beauty, on the other hand, managed to regain balance and even threw up a rockstar symbol with her hand to celebrate.
Now you’re probably thinking… why are you nearing the end of the article and we haven’t bashed Rihanna or Brown yet? Well honestly, I’m about to ship her one of Beyonce’s “Can I Live” sweatshirts because everyone is still in a frenzy over the fishnet skirt she wore over her bathing suit when she strolled along the beach with Brown.
Bloggers, social media, and other outlets are calling the skirt inappropriate and risqué.
Well we say: Hey, Rihanna had a chance to walk around in nothing but bikini bottoms and actually decided to add another layer of something over it. Whether it’s completely see through or not, that’s still a major come up for RihRih who hit the stage without pants just a few months ago.
