Amber Rose has shared the first photo of her new baby, Sebastian. The photo, posted on Instagram, is a snapshot of dad Wiz Khalifa holding the baby, whose face is barely visible from a blanket. “Best daddy ever,” said Rose, 29, in the caption. “Up with the baby so Muva can go back to sleep,” she added.
Rose and Khalifa, 25, welcomed their first child yesterday, whose full name is Sebastian Taylor Thomaz (which, as a child of the 1990s, immediately takes me to Jonathan Taylor Thomas of Home Improvement).
“It’s funny because I came up with the name for our boy and immediately he [Khalifa] came up with a rapper [nickname] for him,” said Rose.
Both parents wasted no time in tweeting about the happy event. “Happy Birthday Sebastian ‘The Bash’ Taylor Thomaz!!! Everyone welcome this perfect young man into the world,” said Wiz. Amber was equally effusive. “Happy Birthday to our baby boy Sebastian ‘The Bash’ Taylor Thomaz! I’m so happy u guys I fell in love all over again!” the model gushed.
The duo previously made headlines for announcing the baby would be born in an at-home, no-drugs waterbirth. “No meds, no hospital, just the privacy of my own home. I’m so excited for this experience!” said Rose. No word on whether the “excitement” still holds.
She also announced “We take home birthing classes to teach us how to do it, and we’re gonna have our midwife, and when they baby’s head comes out, he’s gonna be Dr. Wiz. He’s gonna be the first person to touch the child. No doctors, no gloves.”
Indeed, it looks like Khalifa was Dr. Wiz. Before “The Bash” made his big debut on Thursday, Wiz posted a photo to Instagram of himself wearing scrubs and a medical mask.
Khalifa and Rose have been engaged since March of last year, but have yet to announce a wedding date.
