'Scandal' Season 2 Episode 15: “Boom Goes The Dynamite”

ABC’s Scandal, season 2, returns tonight with a new episode labeled, “Boom Goes the Dynamite,” which picks up where Fitzgerald is still struggling to figure out whom he can trust after finding out Olivia had crossed him.  Fitz also has to deal with a delicate hostage situation.  Other than that, his former mistress, Olivia, and the crew find themselves in the role of high-powered matchmakers for Peter Caldwell, a politician on the rise.

The series is based around Olivia Pope, who has dedicated her life to protecting and defending the public images of the nation’s elite and keeping those secrets under wraps. Revered and feared at the same time, Olivia, a former communications director to the President of the United States, left the White House to open her own prominent crisis management firm. She is hoping to start a new chapter in her life — both professionally and personally — but she can’t seem to completely cut ties with her past Scandal. Slowly it becomes apparent that her dysfunctional staff, who specialize in fixing other people’s lives, can’t quite fix the ones closest at hand-their own.

Scandal season 2, episode 15 “Boom Goes the Dynamite,” airs Thursday, Feb 21, at 10:00pm est on ABC. Spoiler pictures below:

Another sweet episode of one of my favorite primetime shows Scandal. I think Kerry Washington’s beautiful, and she’s doing a great job in a leading role on the show. I enjoy primetime shows and that’s what I mainly watch, and working in the evening at DISH, I can’t be at home to watch my shows. This is the reason I depend on my DISH Hopper DVR to get my shows for me. One thing I hated was my timer conflicts, plus tying up all the DVRs at home. The PrimeTime Anytime feature was the perfect answer, which records the 4 major networks during primetime hours on one TV.
