Game Of Thrones Season 3 Teaser Spews Chaos

Game of Thrones Season 3 is upon us, so for those who have just dug their way out of last week’s super blizzard, too bad, because for fans of HBO’s dark fantasy drama, Winter can’t get here fast enough.

The series returns March 31, 2013 and HBO has just released the first official Game of Thrones teaser (shown above) which seems to predict a great deal of chaos is imminent in the upcoming season of the cable series. Though footage depicting real scenes from Season 3 episodes are absent from the video, we are reminded of the major players who will be attempting to climb this “ladder of chaos.”

Actor Aidan Gillen, who plays Petyr Baelish on the show, uses his creepy but suggestive monologue to hint at the things to come in the next ten episodes. But after seeing how Season 2 ended, we already knew things are going to get crazy in the Seven Kingdoms.

In the Game of Thrones teaser, the depiction of Peter Dinklage’s character, Tyrion Lanister, gives us the best example of this, as we see his intimidating scar from the battle wound sustained last season, is all healed up.  We can hardly wait to see how this disfiguration will change the vain but cunning little fellow.

Game Of Thrones Season 3 is expected to be the best yet. Even the show runners have said several times this season tells the most compelling part of the story, which is based on “A Song of Ice and Fire,” the epic series of books by George R.R. Martin.

So, if you haven’t gotten a chance to see the first and second seasons, you should definitely check out HBO on demand or head over to Amazon to get the newly released Blue-ray disks because on March 31st, Winter will be coming, and you better get prepared.
